Jeff Heard, who started SureLink Communications in 1998, has over 25 years of experience in the satellite and microwave industry. A graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto, Mr. Heard started his career in the production of satellite spacecraft communication components. He then spent nearly 8 years implementing and servicing satellite earth stations for Telesat Canada. After one year as a full time satellite uplink operator, he moved to Florida where he worked designing production and transmission systems for live news vehicles with Frontline Communicatons. He also provided customer training and supervised a team of installers. Through detailed knowledge of these vehicle systems, Mr. Heard now supports the industry by providing training, technical service and consulting. |
